What a gem! We are visiting from the states and broke up our drive between Quebec City and Montreal by stopping at Secret Valley. My 5 and 8 year old loved it so much! My husband and I enjoyed it too. Everything is so cute and so well themed. We did the 5 to 8 year old adventure and the kids loved testing out each key to find which one worked. They worked to solved each riddle to find all the clues. The walk between each challenge was super cute with multiple themed areas to see, including a little treehouse village.
Everyone who worked there was so friendly and happy to help us with the English course. The 15 minute show is in French, but still worth seeing even if you don’t speak French… we do not and we all enjoyed it. It took us about 2 hours to finish the adventure and watch the show. We brought a picnic lunch and there were lots of picnics tables to choose from which were kept very clean. The toilets are portable but were clean and were also themed (for example, they play music while you are in the toilet).
The entire property is enchanting and a nice way to enjoy nature while also doing a fun activity. I was amazed at the creativity throughout the experience. We thought the prices were super reasonable, especially for how great the experience was. As soon as we were done my kids wanted to do the challenge again. They also loved their small treasure for solving the mystery and have been playing with it all day. Thank you for a...
Read moreAmazing experience. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The courses are super cute and fun, and there is amazing attention to detail in every little touch. Different courses for different age groups, and the 2-4 was very age appropriate. The optional bag lunch is excellent value for the price and really added to the magic of the experience. The languages on the course switch easily between French and English if you ask for the English option (we're more comfortable in English, so it was nice to have the option on the occasions we needed it.)
The ending show wasn't able to be in operation, so they gave us a discounted fare and apologized for the nainconvénient. Honestly didn't feel like anything was missing, as there was so much to do anyway.
Special pandemic note: the whole setup is incredibly safe, and it was easy to social distance.
We'll be back for sure, and can't wait to bring visiting family here when the pandemic ends! Thank you for a memory we will...
Read moreNice place to explore with your kids. Based on my 8yrs old vs my 10yrs old reaction, I think the 8yrs or younger kids will be really into it. My oldest kid enjoyed it but my younger one was really more excited. Still we had a nice walk in the woods and played along. We like the guessing games. For the older kids I wonder if they could add a little more challenge by making them look for the key to access the clue? Think it could make it a little more interesting for them. This said, overall the family had a good time and we will return :) I really liked that there are many different paths, the place is super clean (toilets!!) and they gave attention to little details like space to eat if you bring lunch. The staff was very nice and loved that there were hats for everyone and a gift shop with things at a...
