南通金桥智选假日酒店 — Attraction in Nantong

As a member I was looking for a IHG property in Nantong and booked this location because of its close proximity to where I needed to be. Typically you know what to expect in a Holiday Inn Express and this wasn’t it.

The lobby smelt of cigarette smoke, the front desk staff don’t recognize members, the bathroom floor was disgusting, room furnishings are very basic and there is no iron/ironing board in the rooms. We were unable to get both my room and my co-workers room cool. We called the front desk and they said they would send somebody up to look at it but nobody showed up. When I told the front desk staff, she gave me a can of Pepsi to cool down!

This property in nowhere near the level of a Holiday Inn Express I am...

I stayed here on the first day of operation and was in Nantong for business. Had the same feel as many of the Holiday Inn Express hotels around Asia. My room was very clean and had plenty of space to store my bags and move around. A couple of downsides - 1) some areas, especially the lifts, were very dirty. I would have thought that on day 1 everything would have been spotless - 2) no IHG Members check-in area at front desk. When in town on my next business trip I am sure that I will choose to stay here again as the hotel is convenient to the office and...

Room condition is Excellent.

For long Stay, Breakfast has less choice to choose. Prefer more variety breakfast base on daily special menu. Example: Monday special, Tuesday special, Wednesday...
