Nantong Hotel — Attraction in Nantong

Typical China hotel in a factory city. We stayed in the newer B building and they were still working on parts of it. Even being new, it still felt like a dingy China style hotel.||When I got to my room, there were cigarette ashes in the tub which is gross, but nothing compared to opening the shades the next morning. Windows were covered in Black from the pollution in the city. At least the bed was comfortable and we were only here for 1 night.||Food selection was ok, but as with any China style hotel I had to take all necessary precautions. Only use disposable utensils, never eat any raw meat or seafood, and always ask for the bottled water. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel and I strayed away from the sushi that our host ordered. Food was ok after getting hammered on the huge bottle of saki that we consumed. Breakfast buffet was so-so. Not a lot of western options, but it sufficed.||Didn't stay here by choice since it was a work trip. If I do have to stay here again, I hope that they can change some...

My third stay in this hotel, and this time i was very disappointed.|I had a room above the entrance, and there was lots of noise coming through.|Tv didn t work, so i asked for service, they couldn t fix it, and said hotel was full. Didn t offer refund or anything else.|Breakfast : hotel was indeed crowded, and breakfast was very messy... not really enjoying that.|Rooms are still nice and clean, with a very good desk.
