Yesterday i came with my husband and my 5 years old daughter as tourists. We came for the butterfly house (it was nice experience and friendly lady behind the counter, we had no problem). After finished visiting Butterfly house, we went to downstairs because we wanted to buy toys for our daughter and because my daughter saw a carousel, she also wanted to have a ride. We bought one ticket for her and they let us in ( me and my daughter). My daughter wanted to sit on a horse-galloper (because the galloper was too high, so i had to stand next to her, make sure she won't fall during the ride). And there come one young man said,"I don't stand. I don't stand" with annoyed tone. So i assumed that i am not allowed to stand. Ok, fine. Since i still concerned about my daughter being alone on a high horse-ride, i asked him,"Ok. And what i supposed to do?". I mean, it wasn't clear what he wanted me to do. Instead of tried to giving me answer, explanation, he rolled his eyes, groaned quite loudly and he asked a woman with child who sits on a ride not far from us to help him translate what he wanted from me. So this nice czech lady helped him, telling me nicely that i am not allowed to stand during the carousel-ride, i can ride one of the gallopers. I mean, at least half of your guests were tourists, who don't speak Czech. I understand it could be really tiring working in a toy store, a lots of crying and screaming kids. But it was really rude what one of your colleagues did to me, one of your tourist. You located in main tourist location, so please, put colleagues who can treat customers and speak English better (at least basic english), otherwise you will lose...

Some of the best experiences you can have , it's a very big toy store which should be visited if you are traveling with your toy loving girlfriend.

The underground floor has some attractions , which are: Lego museums, butterfly room , Mirror maze and the Best one of them all a VR mission.

We were approached by one of the workers of the VR attraction there and he was super super nice , he was very passionate about his work and he spoke English at a fluent level. The guy made us interested at the VR attraction and made us try it, We tried it and even came back later for it one more time.

even though we encountered some technical issues with the VR equipment there the staff were very helpful and willing to help us solve them and get back to the experience and have the best time we possibly could.

The people that work there are really good and nice people, and they are very passionate about their work which makes the experience 10 times better.

At the other floor they have some interactive options to play around with some of the toys.

There are workers who are walking around playing and doing magic tricks which gives you a sense of a very happy and fun place to be at but the magic tricks are...

Have you ever just wandered around, looking for something to eat and then you fell down the rabbit hole and got lost for like an hour in the Wonderland.

This happened to me when I discovered such an astonishing gem in Prague. I'm just an overgrown child at this moment, but I could spend hours in Hamleys and it still wouldn't be enough.

At the time when I was in Prague, Hamleys had this beautiful Lego exhibition inside. As well as butterfly hatchery full of exotic butterflies flying aeound you. Of course the exhibitions inside have these small fees that you have to pay, but I must say that it was worth it and made my day. For those who keen on their Instagram pics, GO! You'll take more breathtaking pictehere than anywhere else.

Inside the building can also be found this humongous red-golden carousel and slide connecting two out of three floors and a fountain. And kids can play with some cool new toys that just got in the store. Shop assistants are actually showing how to play with some of the cool gadgets and some drons!

Toilets at the store are nice and clean, so you don't have to worry about your children or significant other having trouble finding a relief.

Store has accessible entrance...

Honest David's reviews. 01.02.19 Whilst in Prague we visited the most famous toyshop in England lol. I've been to the one in London many many years ago and I didn't really like it... But this one I did, there were so many things to play with.. nurf guns, remote control toys and playstation type stuff.. of course being a grown up I only played with the nurf guns ... The misses wouldn't let me use the slide... Which goes from the 1st floor to the ground floor... Then called me a chicken as we left. The other good bits where the full size avenger .. a great photo opportunity.... Which we took. In the basement is the Lego exhibition... Which looked good but tbh I am a great Lego fan and had a quick look and didn't rate it... The model Roman amphitheatre in the shop was great... Especially with Marge Simpson in the crowd and what looked like a stormtrooper having a fight in the bar on the other side. Yep I am a big kid and I loved it all .. 5***** well earnt

It's a toy store and it's huge, but it's not chaotic (or at least, it wasn't during the times we were there). They've got staff inviting you if you'd like to try their VR (virtual reality) games, or one guy teaches magic tricks from a booth. They're never pushy, and they know their target. We were two families: my husband and I with our four kids (aged 14 to 24), and my brother's family with two kids (5 and 8 years old). I think the one who enjoyed the most was the five year old who went down their slide which starts from the second floor. (A lot of river cruises start in Prague and a lot of senior citizens take these cruises. I saw one such lady do the slide too.). I think there's a coffee shop on an upper floor, but I didn't try it out. (I went to the ice cream place next door.). They have an elevator if you can't use the stairs.
