Centro Ecoturístico Aguaventura — Attraction in San José de Dahuano

Little piece of paradise, especially for animal lovers! We could store our bicycles safe and dry for the night and slept with our tent in a wonderful raised cabaña with a view of the volcano (unfortunately it was cloudy during our stay, so we only saw it very briefly...). José prepared us a delicious dinner and hot drinks to warm up were on the house. The center offers nice tours and even canyoning! We only had time for the mini tour on the land, which was already breathtaking with its many waterfalls and beautiful trails. Don't skip this place when passing by, you will not regret spending...

Great experience. We stayed one night at the cabana. Very basic, no towels, no hot water, no internet, many insects but really enjoyable. Host was very kind, even made us a campfire at night. The tour was very cool, saw waterfalls, jumped in the waters, swam in the river. Beware of the mosquitoes or bullet ants though, wear long sleeved clothing to protect yourself.

We had such an amazing time exploring the waterfalls, the river and the land. Our guide made us feel safe, was knowledgeable and fun. I would 100% recommended this place to anyone wanting to have a great time. You can also do camping which we will have to come back on a different time. The added bonus was all the animals they have in the area, from monkeys, birds, cats, dogs, ducks...
