Liebeneck Castle — Attraction in Pforzheim

The castle is indeed being renovated, it is still worth visiting this castle, the way is particularly beautiful in Autumn due to the relatively high abundance of broadleaf tress, the castle is surrounded by Bannwald, not actively managed forest left to its own devices since 1992, this means the proportion of conifers is lower than in other areas of the Black Forest. Depending on the way you take you will have to cross multiple bridges over the Würm, a beautiful small river you can follow most of its way to Pforzheim where it joins the Nagold which shortly after joins with the Enz, these are the main 3 rivers in the area. Anlage ist gesperrt und mit Gerüsten versehen, wer will findet schon einen Zugang, macht aber so keine Spaß. Auf der Seite der Stadt Pforzheim findet man dazu nichts. Statt dessen wird die Ruine als beliebtes Wandeziel das "vom Hochbauamt gesichert und vorbildlich ausgebessert" wurde bezeichnet. Obwohl die verwendeten Materialien nicht den optischen Eindruck von vorbildlich vermitteln. Noch besser ist Schwarzwald-Tourismus, da wird die Ruine als zugänglich für Personen mit Gehbehinderung dargestellt. Die Sanierung läuft also noch, nur wie lang? Vor Ort gibt's dazu keine Infos. Zur Zeit kann die Anlage nur eingeschränkt umrundet werden. Der Zugang von der Bushaltestellen an der Würmstrasse ist oben im Wald auch abgesperrt. Kann aber umgangen werden. Zum Parken kann man die Forststrasse,die die Kurve schneidet nutzen, ist zwar nicht als Parkplatz ausgeschildert, aber auch kein Verbot vorhanden. Der Weg nach oben befindet sich am Anfang der Forststrasse Richtung Tiefenbronn und nicht mittig wie bei MAPS...

È una romantica rovina, in mezzo ad uno splendido bosco protetto. Costruito nel XII secolo, è stato incendiato dai francesi nel 1692 e poi distrutto nel 19' secolo per evitare che diventasse una base per malviventi. Ne rimangono parti delle mura e l'alto mastio. Il castello, oggi, è in fase di restauro perche' alcuni tratti delle mura vanno messi in sicurezza ed i lavori sono rallentati per la presenza di alcuni falchi pellegrini ( specie protetta...) che nidificano nella torre.
