"My visit to this park, referred to as a zoo, left me deeply disturbed and disheartened. The cages were not just empty; they were desolately dirty, some housing injured animals in pitiable conditions. Concrete enclosures devoid of any natural elements or proper care left the animals isolated and visibly distressed. Witnessing a wild boar, forlorn and sitting amidst its own waste on the bare concrete, with only a small puddle for water, was an appalling sight. The neglect evident throughout this so-called zoo is a disgrace, especially for a country within the European Union. The misleading positive reviews suggesting anything other than an environment that's bleak, inhumane, and neglectful are perplexing. This place is a stark reminder of the dire need for immediate attention, revamping, and, most importantly, a compassionate approach to wildlife care. Calling it a 'zoo' is a disservice; it's more akin to a prison park. It's a disheartening reality to witness such appalling conditions for these animals. This place urgently requires extensive renovation and, above all, a shift in perspective to prioritize the well-being and freedom of the animals trapped in this dismal setting." Your words can bring attention to the urgent need for change and improvement in such places. So please review with your conscience not just the views you get to see around a park with animal abuse written...
Read moreTruly heartbreaking. Several animals are clearly injured and suffering. There was a stag limping badly, looking completely defeated, and a pig with an open wound on its leg, barely able to move. It was dragging itself through the dirt, clearly in pain. Among these terrible sights of neglect was a lone donkey, completely alone in its pen, hooves so overgrown it could hardly stand properly. Yes, the zoo is free, but that doesn’t excuse what’s happening here. These animals are trapped in miserable conditions with little to no care. It doesn’t feel like a place of education or conservation. It feels like a place where animals are forgotten. I honestly wish I hadn’t gone. The place has made me feel sick to my stomach that such a place still...
Read moreThis facility cannot be called a zoo—it is a place of suffering for animals. Many animals are kept in enclosures that are far too small, such as a 2x2 meter cage shared by a peacock and a hen. There is very little shade, and the animals appear neglected. Some goats have severely overgrown hooves, and one could barely walk, using its knees instead of hooves. Many enclosures were thankfully empty, but the paths are overgrown and poorly maintained. The overall impression is one of sadness and frustration due to the apparent lack of care from the staff. This is not how animals should be treated. I am sharing videos to raise awareness of the...
