After the Vihara Gunung Timur and historical Siu San Keng temple from my hometown Medan City, this grandeur Chinese folk temple is another memorable one in Bali island I'd visited and prayed there several times. This temple has no significant historical value as it's built in modern time, but it's an important temple in Bali island for the Chinese diasporas from either Bali island or outsiders like me to pray and lay down our wishes for a better life in Bali island. For me personally this is the most memorable Chinese folk temple because of its extremely tall stone thresholds for three main doors of the temple's inner sanctum. Yes, traditional and faithful Chinese folk temples must have tall thresholds on their main doors as an important part of traditional Chinese architecture norms. Besides the temple's main building, there is also a gigantic outdoor statue of guanyin bodhisattva built in 2019. This towering huge statue is built from granite which imported from mainland China. I'm glad if this grandeur Chinese folk temple is quite remote and unfamiliar to the tourists, so we as the worshippers can pray with comfort without being harassed by unwanted wandering tourists.
