It truly is and feels like the most visited tourist attraction in Ireland. They have created a whole place dedicated to the cliffs and the ecosystem of the area. They give importance to the many species of birds and have created little games for kids in the dome based on the animals of the area. There is an amazing small 4D cinema with a 2-3 min clip of the area (definitely visit, especially if you come with kids). The cliffs themselves are gorgeous, there are some places in the path where you can see them better, especially on the right path. The path itself is really long and you don't have to walk all of it. At the longest of the path it has some amazing carved stone plates that block you from the cliff, but at some places (at the end of the right path) you are free to come close to the edge. There is a parking fee, otherwise you can find a place to park (if you can) and walk there, but it's very difficult, so pay the parking ticket, download the app and enjoy the day, it's worth it. You'll need about an hour and a half (perhaps even more) to...

The location is beautiful. My low rating is about the way it is staffed.

If you have someone in your group with mobility issues, it is great that the park has free carts. But they are disorganized and it was taking a very long time to go through the line. There seems to be no prioritization for persons in need (my mother was in a wheelchair).

In the end due to our tour only having an hour here, I pushed her chair 1/2 way up the hill to see the view.

The tower at the top was also busy, and the attendant allowed the group before us to stay up as long as they wanted. So 2 people held up our line an extra 10 minutes, long enough that even though I was at the door, I had to give up so that I could push my mom and her chair back to the bus.

Moral of this gripe: have enough time if you're coming on a popular day.

If you don't have time, or maybe it's too wet out to enjoy, go in the visitor center. I'm told there are great audio visuals in there. Didn't have...

☔ We were really looking forward to visiting the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark, and while I’m sure the landscape is absolutely stunning — we wouldn’t know, because all we saw was fog, sideways rain, and the inside of a very cozy bar.

Unfortunately, we were brought during a time when visibility was basically zero. The “cliffs” could have been 5 metres away or 5 kilometres — no one knows. We spent most of the visit warming up in the restaurant, sipping coffee, and hoping the weather would clear. ( it didn’t.)

đŸŒ§ïž I get that Irish weather is unpredictable, but it would’ve been nice to delay or adjust the visit rather than drive all the way there for what was essentially a scenic car park.

I’ll have to come back someday when I can actually see the cliffs. Until then, I’ll just look at postcards and pretend...

Stunning cliffs, not as tall as Sliabh Liag in Donegal but still quite imposing. Very windy when I went which I felt added to the experience. You can see a whole waterfall being pushed up over the cliff by the wind.
