The place is very nice for a walk especially during summer. It’s just next to Tonegawa so you get some cool breeze from the river. There are different types of lotus for those who love them. Entrance fee is ¥800 during the blood iris festival from the end of may to end of June. ¥600 from May to August excluding the blood iris festival time. ¥200 April and from September to November. You can also ride a small boat through the park and view the lovely flowers beside the waterways.There are some stilts for for children to try walk on them. Impressive collection of irises (to be watched in June, gets crowded during the matsuri time).
