I really enjoyed my visit here! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They didn't speak a lot of English, but between google translate, the free English handouts, and audio, I was able to understand and participate in the unique features of this museum. The staff were also happy to answer any questions I had. I should note that my ability to speak Japanese is on par with a kindergartener at best. I went during the week, and while there were a few other visitors, I pretty much had the place to myself. The museum is FREE, which is another great reason to visit. It's very close to Tokyo Disney too, so you can take in some culture during the day and then hit Disney at night with their evening pass. One thing to note, though, is that you have to walk through a building to get to the open air part of the museum. Google will tell you it's behind the building, don't listen.
