I checked out Pasar Karat in Johor Bahru recently, and I gotta say, it's pretty cool. Parking on the roadside can be a bit of a headache, but the place itself is worth it. I'd give it four stars for sure. They've got all kinds of stuff to check out.

And let me tell you, when there's a festival happening, it's a whole different scene. The place gets packed with people, and it's like a party. The street food there is mouthwatering, and you can find some seriously unique stuff to buy.

Plus, it's conveniently close to the City Square shopping mall. So, you can hit up the market for some local flavor, and if you're in the mood for some mainstream shopping, just head over to City Square. Soak in the local vibes at the market, grab some souvenirs, munch on some tasty snacks, and when you're ready for some air-conditioned shopping, City Square is right around the corner. Yeah, parking can be a pain, but with the lively atmosphere and all the cool things to see, it's totally worth it. I'd recommend...

Good, active and decent night market in Johor Bahru. In one intersection there are shops where pets like cats, mice and such are sold. It is near the Little India area.. almost behind the Little India in Johor Bahru. Some vendors realize that you are tourists, then he double or triple the price. So bargain and buy. Or just keep moving to another shop. I felt the shops in the main intersection offer good price than the ones in the lanes. Some shops are good to buy dresses... but find the prices are same as in malls. There is a bad smell as you walk near the canal there. Hence I am giving one star less.

My experiences: Like coolers was 15RM in the intersection shop while it was RM50 in the lane shop. Mainly eating eating eating!!! Lots of food varieties to try out. But i just chose to go with fruits... and the fruit shop I bought also instantly the guy said its 20rm and the girl said its 10rm. When i stare at them, the guy left and they gave it to...
