A place that worth visiting. If you walk on the island, it is not very good looking, rather dirty I'd say and ugly; but, as you pass the main gate, go right (not ahead) and go on on the curved street. On the right is the sea and the small boats that travel and at the end of the road there is the forth. You can enter it, in the main square, in the rooms but it might be closed and therefore be sure to check the days it is closed. Inside the forth you might get a feeling about how they lived in the past. They make a big fuss, a lot of pictures about how the Fort was before and how they restored it: good job I would say, bum Imy just not a big fun on how to restore a place. On the island be sure you have water with you and a hat to protect from the 🌞. There is nothing to buy on that island. I hope that when you read this post, in 2 years by now, they finish the restauration. Near the Fort, down stairs and to the left, you can spend a quiet moment, alone, just you and the sea.
