Visiting this place during the Eid holidays was a truly unforgettable experience. This historic medina, unlike others, is remarkably well-preserved, allowing you to stroll freely through its ancient streets without the usual distractions of motorbikes and scooters. The peaceful ambience enhanced the charm of wandering around. The local souk vendors are masters of their crafts, specializing in an array of perfumes, spices, and quality leather goods, each offering a sensory delight that is quintessentially Moroccan. For quick bites, the street kebabs are a must-try—simple yet delicious and perfect for on-the-go eating. For a more relaxed meal, there are excellent traditional dining options with open-roof views that allow you to soak in the atmosphere while enjoying finely prepared local cuisine.

When you see this, welcome to the Medina of Fes, where the most scammers are. - The first: You should do is to refuse any local people who talk to you in the media or who want to show you the way. - Secondly: Beware of merchants in stores giving you special tourist prices, that is, offers several times higher than the normal price. - Then again: Don't go to the Café at the right side of the entrance of this gate(as shown in the photos below), a cup of espresso will ask you for a price several times higher than the locals, purely to rip you off, just like robbing you.

The Madina in fes is huge. Many entries so cancel your day schedule and go get lost in the Medina. Very easy going people in term of sellers. Prices are reasonable and always bargain of course. We enjoyed it and saw lots of stuff. The oldest mosque is not visitable unless you Muslim.enjoy

It's a beautiful 😍 experience for me and my family members ❤️, i love this place, but like every place there are a lot of scummer👺 so I recommended not trusting anyone or asking anyone, but don't worry there are a lot of policemen👮♂️👮♀️ to guarantee your safety 😊.

What and incredible location, but make sure you have a local guide as you can get lost just by turning in a circle. Would definitely recommend a stop here in your travels! Copper, leather, and all other types of artisan work can be found in the markets here!

A labyrinth of narrow lanes which takes you into the world of busy streets, bustling markets and local life. Fantastic to experience Fez up close and personal.
