Amazing place for a calm walk near Breda. It is very peaceful and beautiful due to the 3 lakes. I would definitely recommend visiting it and spending some time in nature. You can come by car or by bike.

Prachtig gemengd bos met oude eiken, beuken, tamme kastanjes en veel grove dennen. De grove den is oorspronkelijk geplant omdat deze lange, rechte stammen hebben die moesten dienen als masten voor de schepen.

Heerlijke ochtend wandeling gemaakt in het Mastbos, en jawel 3 kabouterpalen gezien, we liepen onze eigen route 🤣. Zuidkant was het mooiste en rustigste.

Nice route. Roughly 1.4km in total. You can easily follow the way around the "kabouterpad". The path is well maintained but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it with a city stroller. This is still a forest path (not concrete).

Vanaf de startplaats is dit een leuk rondje voor de allerkleinsten: het rondje is circa 1,4 km in twee halve cirkels van ieder 700mtr, dus ook tussentijds stoppen kan eenvoudig.

Het mastbos is zelf erg populair dus ook erg druk in de weekenden. In deze tijden daarmee wat minder aan te raden op populaire dagen/tijden...
