Fantasy World, once a promising theme park, now presents a mixed experience. Its unique design and architecture can still be appealing to those looking for a photography backdrop or a brief nostalgic visit, but the park's deteriorating condition and limited activities can be a disappointment for those expecting a fully functional theme park experience. Visitors should set their expectations accordingly.

Read moreHave you heard of fantasy world in Lemery, Batangas? Well truth to be told if my wife didn't tell me about it. I'm pretty sure I too wouldn't have heard of it.
It's around 30 minutes away from Tagaytay proper and if you are heading to Nasugbu or Caleruega I would suggest drop by. Even if it's to take photos as we did. There really isn't much to see once you get there, other than the beautiful surroundings, lake Taal in the distance and the buildings within the land area of the so-called Fantasy world. It makes you wonder who the hell built this place in the middle of nowhere (there are sadly no plaques explaining of how the place became about and who the owner maybe). It's intriguing because it's actually a pretty little spot which somehow brings you to a different place.
You may not be able to bring water or liquids into the place, which is understandable since the small stores within the area need to make some money. The cover charge is P100 per head when you enter the facility. It's quite cheap considering how beautiful the place is kept and how great the surroundings really are (see photos below) just be sure to take your rubbish if you bring some-in. Sometimes Filipino's carelessly forget to throw their rubbish away so do the right thing and do that.
Other than that, may have to visit again sometime down the road. And actually climb the towers, I imagine the view from the top is as good as the view we had from climbing the smaller tower which has a small bridge you may...
Read moreLike most, we we’re a bit shocked that we had to pay P1000 entrance fee which is good for 10 people regardless if your alone. What we did was to wait for other visitors and asked them if we could share the entrance fee.
Driving inside, you could just imagine what it would have looked like if this was operational!
Parking space is not a problem, given the entrance fee few peps will want to go in.
No food nor drinks are permitted. You’ll have to buy inside.
While strolling around, you’ll really feel like you’re not in the Philippines. Everywhere you look there are interesting structures. A lot of places to take your videos, photos, selfies, and groupies. Which is the only thing you can do in this place. If you’re brave enough, you can even go up a fairly high tower. I felt a bit nervous when going up as I sensed that the tower was swaying a bit and add to that some area of the metal stairs looked like rusted already. Once you’re up there, everything washes away while looking at the awesome view but then again you still need to head down.
I will recommend this place to anyone wanting to feel like their transported to a foreign land. Make sure your camera has enough free disk space for those videos and photos. Also make sure your device is fully charge and might as well have a battery bank ready, just in case. Have...
