It looks like it hasn’t seen proper maintenance in over a decade. The conditions are not just unpleasant they’re unacceptable for any public space. It’s filthy, unsafe, and frankly a health hazard.
The park is absolutely covered in garbage. Trash is scattered everywhere, and the stench from stagnant water and uncleaned areas is unbearable, it smells like sewage and urine throughout. There are swampy spots left untouched, and nothing indicates any recent cleaning or basic upkeep. It’s clear the city has completely abandoned it.
The place feels unsafe from the moment you walk in. There are groups of people loitering, and shouting. It’s not somewhere you’d want to bring your family, or even be alone. The atmosphere is tense, unpleasant, and honestly, disturbing.
Almost everything in the park is broken or unusable. Benches, paths it’s all falling apart. There is nothing to enjoy here. It’s not a park anymore; it’s just a dirty, neglected lot full of problems.
This park needs a complete overhaul. Until serious cleanup and security work is done, no one should be visiting.
Big and spacious with lots of trees/ bushes spread around. The highlight is the 2 sections dedicated for kids play area which are humongous and right place for kids to loosen up. While adults can warm up and stretch out a bit on the walking track with few workout( basic exercise machine) spots. Well maintained and since its a corner plot plenty of parking available on 3 sides surrounding the park with three entrances.
Ideal to spend the evening with family with kids and loads of shops to get your choice of dinner.
great place, if you want a vacation for a summer season just visit and inspired from Abha it's awesome and cold place a lot of beautiful places you can visit, I like the zigzag roads while going to this place. The park with lavender tree was mesmerizing for me with a breeze of sun light you will feel you are not in the Saudi Arabia. I must say this is good to called a city of cold place from Saudi Arabia. You will not regret to visit it
