Read moreTiny park nestled within some landed properties, with a carpark of its own. Its just a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The toilets there are well maintained and brightly lit, unlike some other parks where the toilets are often in semi-darkness and loaded with commando mosquitoes. The toilets are not just well maintained, but often have toilet paper inside the cubicles too, which is something quite rare within a park. Within the main park itself the total time needed to walk from one end to the other end takes almost 5 minutes at most if you stroll leisurely. But to walk to the end of the park connector trail along the river, it might take up to 15 or 20 minutes. There are lots of wildlife to see along the park connector trail, birds, aquatic life and lots of flora. Even saw a large monitor lizard swimming in the river once. But do note that the park connector trail has no shelter at all except for a lookout point somewhere...
Read moreMorning jog at Springleaf Nature Park along with cyclists on Sunday morning and embracing the quietness and fresh morning air. The jog along this nature park had definitely elevated my Sunday morning to that of an awe inspiring day. The greenery and the quietness of the nature with occasional sight of dragonflies intermittently resting and taking off from the lotus plant floating along the stretch at the park. Peace & tranquility blanketed the park with some puffy clouds hovering above the sky. My next visit would be cycling along this park & the vicinity...
