Visited with my friends during the march holidays in 2023. Would say its a pretty nice experience. For about 7 people, we got a large locker and paid $20+ for just that locker. Pretty expensive.
First, we went to the lazy river. We were allowed to go for as many round as we like (no restrictions whatsoever) but the floor was really spikey and it really hurt our feet. My friend ended up scraping her toe and it bled for quite awhile. Was pretty tired after going to the lazy river and its quite hard to get a floatie.
We obviously wore goggles in the lazy river to swim but when we wanted to go on the rides, we weren't allowed to wear them down. We had to separately put them at some random shoe rack HOPING no one would take our goggles. I understand that wild wild wet is concerned for their customer's safety but some people have goggles that have degrees as they have myopia. if they cant wear their goggles, they cant see and will trip and fall.
We went for free fall and vortex. Vortex was quite ok, and free fall was scary but really fun. First time trying a steep and open water slide. Both my eyes were closed going down free fall as a lot of water was splashing into my face, but you can feel that adrenaline rush! - good experience!
We also went for Ular-Lah and it was not that bad, a bit slow though. A ride for people who want a more less-violent ride. Suitable for kids.
Water works were pretty boring. Slides were slow and you're very likely to get stuck inside the purple slide. If you got nothing else to do and rode all the rides, you should go for these.
Slide up was really fun. Really enjoyed the drop! Staff on slide up was really nice. However, you have to carry the raft up yourself and it was quite heavy.
Royal flush - we rode this more than 5 times! Queue was moving super fast and we really enjoyed this ride. However, you have to be 35 kg or above to ride this though. The ride was really short, but we couldn't get enough of it! Good experience!
Kraken racers - you have to queue to get the mats for this ride. plus you have to carry them to the top while queuing. Quite nice, you should go for this ride if you have nothing else to do.
Professor's playground was closed for renovation and we were not interested in going to the kids zone because we wanted to experience the funner rides.
Torpedo - best ride of all. It only opens at 3 (if im not wrong) and by the time we got there, there was a really long queue. We waited in line for about 30+ minutes and got to ride the slides. That big drop at the start was scary and the ride was super fast. Really fun and enjoyed it. We did it once and it was worth it to queue for 30+ minutes.
Tsunami pool - It's okay. Floats were limited. We used lifejackets and still struggled to stay afloat. I would recommend you to go for the other rides rather than spending time at this wave pool.
Overall, queues were fast moving and short, with exception of torpedo (but totally worth it!) Had our friend book tickets for us in advance so we had no problem going in. Had breakfast at mcdonalds before the opening time and went in straight away. Great experience, but wouldn't recommend you to get drinks/food from the cafe/vending machine there as the items are pretty expensive there.
If you're planning to go there, book in advance, otherwise you'll have trouble getting tickets there. This is post-covid, by the way.
Directions: Take MRT east west line to pasir ris, go to ground floor and take shuttle to wild wild wet. we didnt want to wait for shuttle so we just took bus from the interchange...

Read moreA nice place for a family to gather and have fun when the family has a resort booked. Discounted rates are given for guests of the resort. So unless you have a resort booked, stay near the east of have a membership, another similar theme in a Island south of Singapore would probably be a better choice.
The revamped Wild Wild Wet definitely looks much better than before and there's an entrance near the resort (rather than walking one big round to the main).
The negative point that I have to state is about the safety regulations. Safety is of course of the utmost importance but certain restrictions certainly do kill the joy. I brought along a phone that's water resistant so that I can capture memories I have with my family, I am well aware that it can be dangerous if I use it in the duration of the rides should I drop the phone. I told the life guard that I will be keeping my phone in the zipper compartment of my surf shorts. He was insistent that I am not allowed on the ride unless I kept my phone in the locker. This also makes be wonder.... I can always walk down and come back up again with my phone in the surf shorts and he will not know that I have my phone, he didn't check my shorts. So what's the point of not allowing me on board in the first place?
I was queuing up for another ride and a parent was disallowed from using his GoPro that was mounted on a head mount. I wonder what would have been said if I had my chest mount and GoPro with me. I mean... these equipment are proven to be secure!
I have seen in many of the safety instructions that spectacles have to be safely secured but all I see is people were being told.. NO SPECTACLES.
So you must be prepared to wear contact lens if you do not have perfect eye sight or have blurry images going around on the rides and have little memories of...
