Kavečany is a borough of Košice, Slovakia. The borough is situated 6 km northwest of Košice, at an altitude of roughly 453 metres above sea level, in the Košice I district. Kavečany retains a rural character, with a population of more than 1150 inhabitants. It's known mostly as a place for recreation and relaxation.
