Kowie Bunga Ocean & River Adventures — Attraction in Ndlambe Local Municipality

Rented a boat from Joao in December 2023 for 7 days with payment in full required. Despite several follows up, the wrong boat was only delivered 5 days later with all kinds of excuses and a promise that I would be reimbursed for the delay. It is now 6 weeks later and despite numerous, phone calls and messages no monies have been received. Do not trust a word this man says and certainly don't pay him upfront. Extremely disappointing service, wouldn't recommend him or his company. Not even worth a 1 star. SAPS can now deal with him.

Update on the above Despite a Whatsapp response from Joao on the 31/01/2022 @ 10h09 claiming that 'I will do the transfer to you by the end of the week', it is now 6 weeks later and still no monies have been received. DO BUSNIESS WITH THIS MAN AT YOUR...

I and 7 other people booked an ocean tour unfortunately due to the weather we were not able to go. However, they immediately gave me other options to do, which was so nice! They gave us an amazing day, and we enjoyed a little boat tour on the river, next to that we did a couple of water sports, closing the day off with a delicious “braai”. Moreover, also did surfing lessons and it was amazing! Very good guidance and very focused on giving a memorable day! I studied for 3 months close to Port Elizabeth but wanted to come back to Port Alfred to do even more surfing lessons. In the future when I do go back, I want to surf here again and even on other trips that I didn't do. Overall...

Dusty and the team at Kowie Bunga are amazing and extremely accommodating. I am really grateful to them for helping me make one of my dream come true, being able to watch whales from a boat. They went out of their way to make this happen for me. Even though we were fully aware that meeting up with those magnificent creatures in the sea could be a "hit and miss", Dusty tried his best and we were able to approach them to a safe distance, which still gave us amazing sightings. Dusty's kindness and his passion for the sea and its creatures were a huge plus in my "bucket-list" experience. I am looking forward to other adventures...
