Beautiful place with amazing mountains and hiking. Very well maintained trails. Pretty wild and minimally inhabited, so you can easily find yourself a long long way from the nearest bottled water or food so come prepared.

Roads are good but do not expect it to be easy or straightforward to get to or get around by public transport (especially if you don't speak mandarin or local languages/don't have a local to help you).
