The elephants are not treated well here. the handlers are hitting them with spikes so they submit. We saw a baby elephant chained. This is animal cruelty and should be immediately closed and the elephants taken to a sanctuary. If you are a tourist, avoid this at all costs!

A total scam! A guy with tuktuk will come and show the pictures,and say that he will take only 300 bhats per hour, but he will take straight to this horrible place and make us pay for the ride. It took 1hour 20 minutes to get back. So, 600 bhats gone right here, plus he will ask for more tips, atleast 100 bhats. They didn't hit the elephant on our ride, but when the ride is about to end. The rider ordered us to pay tips, a 100 bhat per person. I thought that was too expensive, as the ride itself cost us 1450 bhats for 45 minutes ride. Never going back...
