Fairly hidden away and not the easiest to find, but a lovely big play facility.

There is a large play area for older children and a smaller play area for toddlers, plus a sensory room for under 3's, a party room and a 'sports hall' with football nets and basketball hoops. We didn't use the large play area as babies are one and 6 months.

The small area is accessible only through a locked door - the door is unlocked with buttons which are at adult head height, therefore inaccessible to children. We liked this feature as it prevents older children from entering unaccompanied, which has been a problem elsewhere, as they aren't always careful near the smaller children, and also stops the more mobile toddlers from wandering away if parent is distracted.

The sensory room is locked with a key coded door. Again, this is a nice feature as it prevents older children from running in and out while there are small babies around. Unfortunately, the staff don't seem inclined to monitor the use of the room, and actively give the code out to parents with older children, which rather defies the idea. Several parents saw fit to prop the door open (even while I and 6 month old were in there) or actively brought older children in - not a problem except that they were full on jumping into the ball pit, even while the baby was in there. Needless to say, we made a speedy exit to prevent injury.

A selection of food and drink is available, although priced a little more expensively than other play centres - disappointing especially as there are limited options to eat elsewhere in close proximity.

The facilities are clean and look well looked after, as well as the soft play areas there is a variety of ride along toys and bouncers available to use. Baby changing facilities are available in both men and women's toilets, which is a nice change, and again we're clean and in good condition. There are also a number of highchairs available for use, although I had to clean the one that we used.

All in all, not a bad play area, although more supervision from the staff required in some areas.
