Beautiful woodland but lack of adequate management. There are broken fences and gates, an inadequate litter picking program in place, signs that are not fit for purpose or have fallen on the ground. Shame to see the fence around the Master Oak hasn't been fixed in nearly a year. There are no wardens so people can harass the cows and play with motorised toys on the lake without penalty. Litter, discarded maintenance materials and unsociable behaviour such as illegal fishing, barbecues, biking and daily use of leaf blowers by dozens of gardeners around Bentley Priory ruin what could be a very pleasant and peaceful experience.
