I've been here several times (about 4 times) and I was happy each of those previous times. The courses were fun with some water cool features in some of the courses. The dinosaurs added fun to the place. The mini quads were cute for the kids and the climbing frame was something else to do to mix it up. And there is a fabulous Turkish restaurant next door so you get hit by the beautiful aroma's coming out of their kitchen.
But I just went last weekend and I have to say I was very very disappointed. The place is in need of a spruce up, the dinosaurs had some limbs missing, the water feature wasn't working so one of the most fun courses was boring as you couldn't hit it down the stream and into the hole. The climbing frame is no longer there, and you need that as the golf can get a bit boring and my son just got to the age where he wanted to try the climbing frame out. And the mini quads only had 1 working so I couldn't race around with my son. And it is expensive for what it is, so they really should re-invest their profits to keep the place attractive and popular as it would be a shame if it keeps going downhill.
I didn't interact with the staff too much, but when I did I found that they were polite, and understanding that the place was falling apart and they tried to be as helpful as they could but they are just young adults themselves so their hands are really tied and the management have a lot to answer with the upkeep...
Read moreTerrible experience. We booked mini golf for a group of 5 (4 kids all under the age of 7 and an adult). We asked whether we could have an additional adult to enter in order to help supervise the children however was refused. The lady manager (Louise) at the door was extremely rude and unprofessional. We explained that it would be reasonable for another adult to help out as to avoid any health and safety issues as they are only kids (one of them aged 4) however Louise was senseless and unsympathetic to the idea. Her attitude and rude approach made us all very uncomfortable and the kids felt extremely intimidated. When we kindly asked if an exception could be made she kept picking at us and escalating the situation for no apparent reason. She was either inexperienced or was just not having a good day. She even threatened to have us removed from the car park and refuse us entry which was awkward. She seemed to have been overwhelmed by her own duties and clearly wanted to take it out on us. All the parents and children we’re shocked and it certainly took away the happy vibe from the day out. We only wanted the kids to have fun and thanks to Louise it turned out to be a very unhappy and intimidating experience for them. Otherwise good facilities, plenty of parking and a...
Read moreSo I am not the type of person to leave reviews let alone a bad review, but I do feel I need to provide other customers certain information which maybe helpful.
I went online and booked an slot for 4.10pm today for three people (myself, my wife and 3 year old child) at a cost of £30.
We struggled to play the first hole due to my 3 year old son being very afraid of the large spinosaurus dinosaur.
From then on we struggled to play and his mother had to carry him through the course as we were told by the receptionist that we were not allowed to go backwards within the course.
We tried our best to walk through the course and without disturbing other poeple too much and ended back at the front at approx 4.20 pm.
I politely explained the situation to the manager named Shaun Tyler and requested a refund as we did not play. He declined stating that we should had come back straight away and not walk through the whole course. Please remember we were advised not to go backwards within the course and having only spent less than 10 mins on the course with a 3 year old who had to be carried to the exit, I believe Shaun's decision was very...
