Where do o begin, i hosted a party here for my first borns 1st birthday party and paid £350 for 35 children as it had come reccomended and the play area "seemed" sufficient for a wide age of children. Well kids play and enjoyed that section of the party other than the under 2's section been over run by a variety of kids but thats by the by lods are kids. But now to sheer nightmare. So if you arrive a joe blog public its £5 entry and £3.50 for a larfe kids meal which includes 3 chicken nuggets and chips etc. They proceded to bring out the food which anyone reading this as parents grandparents will know how much a 1 year old eats not a great deal in comparison to a 6 year old. Anyway the kids got 2 chicken nuggets each and some carrot and cucumber sticks a couple of watsits and that was about it. The kids ate what was provided but to my dismay still hungry and judging by the portion sizes rightly so! After informing the staff that the food wasnt adiquate i was told this is the standard for a party. So im guessing if you have a 6 year olds party there they will all be starved walking away from here. But the most dissapointing this was yet to come! They brought out my childs birthday cake no warning to gather the children or parents just walked out with it. I told the member of staff that we wasnt ready and i will gather the kids parents etc and give them a heads up when we are ready! Maybe 4 minutes later to my disarray i turned to see the woman walking out with the cake towards my daughter with obly half of the kids sat waiting. No music no nothing which really wound me up what kind of birthday party hosts dont play happy birthday music ? That is poor! And due to all the above i approached the member of staff again to which i was confronted with "there is nothing i can do im just a member of staff" hardly the words you want to hear when £350 of my hard earned money has been handed over to these such a dissapointing day not for my daughter as she dosent understand at the minute but for me never again happy days thanks for ruining the day!
