Cheshunt Park once was a very lovely park to visit with the family but now left by Broxbourne Borough Council to become overgrown, this includes most of the open space to become very much overgrown and totally unusable.

This review was written at the time of Cheshunt still very much within the pandemic of Covid-19. The government is advising us whilst exercising to keep to open space and keep distance from other people but, Broxbourne Borough Council thinks differently. Everyone is to use just footpaths so distancing isn't always possible because walking through the fields or open park is no longer possible as the are 2 feet overgrown! Even sitting down on the grass is limited to just a very few locations making everyone head towards the same place which surely increases risk of Covid-19 whilst the majority of park is left an abandoned to overgrown. Broxbourne Borough Council you need to start looking how to manage everyone's safety much better than your doing right now. The summer is here and the risk of catching covid-19 is only increased when everybody is is forced to use just footpath and most of them is...

Hi I love this Park, everyday I walk our dog here. But news is out that the council plan to build a road through the park and take away the three fields to the south and use them for the golf club. So they can build a road through another part of the parkland and golf course. It’s a disgrace is greenbelt land with vital wildlife including badgers, common lizards, bats, the kingfisher. And yet they want to build a road and a new bridge over the river to take artics into Tesco’s for deliveries. It’s a shocking plan, the only good news is that we can oppose these proposals and stop them from passing by objecting to...

While not a large park it is a good area to walk, get fresh air, take a dog if you have one, look over London, chill, identify trees and plants, do exercise, meet people and more. There is golf course next to it, a skateboard area and a play area. Even a...

Excellent place for a walk and to practise photography and during the summer it will make a great picnic place. Only one complaint and that is the amount of dog mess uncleaned.
