Great lake for kayaking and boating. Lots of covered picnic tables. I'm skeptical about the bottom fish due to the high mercury level in the lake sediment reported by the forest service. Slthough there are no warning signs that I saw. The boat launch is nice and there is a dock and a dock for fishing too. Lots of parking for boat trailers. There looked to be a lot of nice fishing areas off the bank also. There are put toilets. Primitive camping is near by the lake. I did not see any areas posted for swimming. Read moreLittle reservoir but quiet and private. Went on a Friday and had the whole lake to ourselves! Take a camping chair as there is no where to really sit on the docks. The road to the lake is curvy and narrow so keep the speed low and enjoy the beautiful canyon that it sits in. Also, the no flame restriction is weird because everyone was grilling including us. The place needs more facilities such as path rooms and fountains.
