Terribly organised. I pre-ordered tickets online for Endgame. The email it sent me told me to see the self service kiosk or the ticket booth to get my tickets situated. Great. We get there 20 minutes before the movie starts on the opening night and they only have refreshment center open thats handling EVERYTHING. They're doing online tickets, in house tickets, and snacks and drinks. What's the point of having a ticket booth and two refreshment centers if you're not going to utilize it on literally THE BIGGEST MOVIE IN HISTORY to date. What other time would it be used? So, even though we get there 20 minutes early, have already paid for our tickets, and we don't want any refreshments, we have to stand in the refreshment line for 45 MINUTES just to get our tickets. So we can finally go sit down, except that by the time we get inside the theater, it is literally filled to the brim. There were no available seats past the second row. Me and my girlfriend had to stumble around the theater during the opening scenes to try and find a seat, only to end up having to sit in the floor FOR THREE HOURS. About an hour in, I went and asked someone at the counter if it was possible to get a refund because we paid extra for better seats and a better experience (The Big D seats were over $16/piece) and we still ended up having to sit in the floor and my back was killing me. They told me no that we couldn't get a refund because it was an hour in and there were still seats available (referring to the front row where you literally cant even see the whole screen because it exits your peripheral vision and you have to strain your neck almost directly upwards the whole time. I was so disappointed that I almost cried because I had been looking forward to this movie for so long, and now all I could focus on was how much my back hurt and how I wasted my money and time. I will not be visiting any AMC theater again because of its terrible practices and the bad taste it left in my mouth from such an...
Read moreSurreal experience. On a whim this past Thursday I decided to take my fiancé and go see the D&D movie. It was leaving theaters soon and I wanted to give the movie some financial support so we went. The parking lot was empty. A few cars for employees and probably some people parking there who shouldn’t be. No line to get tickets or food in this desolate lobby. Only one side of the lobby has workers anyway. No music playing, it was eerily quiet. We got our tickets and went into the theater and we were the ONLY ones in there. No one else came in late, we didn’t see a soul the whole time we were there (besides workers). Even as we finished the movie and were leaving we did not see anyone else. The arcade was closed. The smaller concession stands in the back hallway were empty and with lights turned off. Being here feels like you’re in those liminal spaces images on google. It’s fine, the theaters are always really loud (maybe I have sensitive ears idk), but the popcorn was fine and there was no smell. Interesting trip. I’ll guess it’ll be closed within...
Read moreThis facility is outdated and requires renovation. I have been a patron for decades. While it was once a vibrant movie-going destination, my family and I now frequently have an entire auditorium to ourselves, or share it with very few others, depending on the day and time of our visit. However, they do offer a large-format auditorium, closed captioning, and a substantial 3D theater. They provide discounted Tuesdays and matinee pricing, offering savings to each individual. We appreciate the convenience of mobile ordering for tickets and concessions, eliminating the need to stand in line. Military and senior discounts are available. The expansive parking lot ensures easy access to parking. The staff is courteous, and the multiple restrooms are consistently maintained in a clean condition. Currently, only one concession booth remains operational, and the arcade games have been removed. Overall, it's still a decent place to watch newly released movies in 14...
