We saw a FB post about POW yesterday & we made the one hour drive here ready for an epic battle. When you walk in, you fill out the waiver online.. Staff was awesome and you can definitely see that they love their job. We purchased an hour and level 2 upgrade - halfway through they gave us a complimentary half hour :) You purchase sticky socks separately for $3.50. They also give you safety glasses. I did see someone bring their own nerf gun from home but we didn’t want to, they have plenty of options. The pouches were handy to store your ammo too. My husband thought it was a blast as did our kids (12 and 9) there were also younger kids there. The arena was spacious and there’s lots of places in the ‘walls’ and ‘buildings’ to hide. It’s definitely a free for all and everyone shoots whoever. Some of the battery powered ones hurt lol but we knew that coming in and it didn’t deter us! We were all running around the whole time, it was a work out phew ! There’s also a sitting area with comfy and stylish couches. Definitely recommend and will be coming back soon, thanks everyone at...
Read moreAttended a 11th birthday party here today. It was our 1st time. Although a cool concept and the kids did enjoy it, I wouldn’t recommend it for a kids birthday party. Unlike Pump It Up, Chick E Cheese, Urban Air etc who have a more organized time line, this place lacks organization. Employees seemed uninterested and lacked excitement. The arena isn’t the biggest space since this place is in the mall and it’s pretty much a free for all. You have young kids no more than 5 alongside kids as old as 12 and adults running around like maniacs. Other than a few safety rules blurted over the mic ever so randomly there’s no organization into teams or organized games. There’s two small party rooms with no labeling. It takes literally nothing to invest in signs 🪧 that say John’s birthday party etc. As a result, guest kept walking into the wrong party room and they are literally parallel side by side. Decoration is orange and blue table clothes and plates. No coat rack. No active party host. Just times up blurted...
Read moreI recently had my son's 5th birthday party at Pups of War in East Brunswick. I have to start out by explaining how wonderful Dan, the person who runs this store was during my whole party planning process. He went out of his way from day one of speaking with him. He was helpful, answered all my questions, gave me advice on what he thought would make the birthday boy, and my guests happiest, he even saved me money! This is not your typical company that just tries to add on things, so you keep coming out of pocket. The staff Dan had working with him (Dylan, Tyler, Riley, Robert, and Shawn) was also wonderful. They were helpful, kind, watched out for the children's safety, and most of all fun! All the parents, and kids had a wonderful time! A plus was the facility was clean, and safe! I would highly recommend booking this place for your next party! Thank you, so much for giving my son a wonderful party, Pups of War in...
