While this can be fun for kids and teens, the Zap Zone corporation appears to be running a scam to increase sales artificially and is heartless for children who are different. Their Springs area requires non-slip socks, and my kids purposely wore non-slip socks (my daughter's custom for her feet) so they could play. After purchasing the activities, we were stopped and required to purchase the zap zone green socks (no exceptions) - which are the standard foot shape and not suitable for those with a foot deformation. The front desk had no sympathy and allowed no exceptions whatsoever to purchasing and wearing their green socks. This is a scam and discrimination against those with foot deformations. Sadly, companies still get away with this unacceptable behavior - especially towards children. I’m waiting to see if corporate will contact me - so far, nothing. Signage needs to be updated to reflect this bad policy if they continue it. Places like this should be fun and accepting of slightly different people, or be clear about additional expenses upfront. Customers shouldn’t have to ask a company to do the right thing. My daughter begged for the green socks to play and promised me they wouldn't hurt her foot. This is the activity she wanted to do and why we wore the non-slip docks to Zap Zone. She forced the Zap Zone socks on and played, only to be in pain. After 20 minutes of play, we left, my daughter in tears. Zap Zone needs to have some compassion for children instead of focusing on greed and being cruel...
Read moreFirst and last experience at this Zap Zone location. I was excited and picked this location because of more attractions and a wider food selection on menu. I bought a birthday package for my child online. After my arrival and paying for the party which was 15-20 minutes prior to party time, I was directed to the room I was using for the party. A staff member stated that she just cleaned the room, however when I walked into the room the floor was very sticky and the tables were visibly dirty and stained. When I asked the staff if she could clean the room and wipe tables down staff got an attitude and made a smart remark about cleaning. I went back to party stand and requested to speak to a supervisor who came to clean the room. Throughout the party no staff was tending to the room other than the deliver of the food and drinks. I personally had to keep going back and forth to the party stand to request refills and get more plates, etc. The information on how attractions were explained for a party was not the case and confusing for the kids. For the money paid for a party package and the services provided is very poor. I will not return to this location nor will I advise to book a birthday party package at this Zap...
Read moreI'd give Zap Zone 6 stars if I could. I brought my family here to celebrate my 6 yr olds birthday. This was the only place I found online that offers smaller indoor go karts for that age group. He had a blast. They were electric and a little slow but perfect for that age group. We all got tickets for the big karts and took the kids out again as passengers. The employee running the track was super nice and even gave us a few extra laps because it was my sons birthday. It was half of Tuesday so all the attractions like laser tag and go karts were only $4 a person. The games are also pretty generous with tickets. We had well over 1000 tickets with only $25 worth of coins purchased. The kids were able to get some small things at the prize counter. This was also very quiet on a weekday afternoon so all the games were accessible. I also didn't see any games out of order so they keep up on their products. We've been to the one in Canton that's pretty small but this one is easily twice to three times as big. We will be back on another...
