Avoid at All Costs – This Place is a Scam

I came here expecting a proper massage to help with neck pain, but this place is a complete joke. I paid $70 for an hour and even left a tip upfront, expecting decent service. What I got instead was an absolute disaster.

First off, the place smelled bad the moment I walked in. It was far from clean, and the whole setup felt sketchy. A Chinese woman greeted me, and I already started having doubts. The first massage therapist, who was clearly unqualified, at least tried to do something resembling a massage until she suddenly left after 20 minutes, saying someone else would take over.

Then the second “therapist” came in. And by “therapist,” I mean someone who barely did anything except rub warm towels on me, tap my back a few times, and then completely out of nowhere offered to give me a handjob. Seriously? I obviously refused, and instead of continuing the session, she just said, “It’s ok” and pointed me to the door this was after only 40 minutes, including the 10-minute gap where they switched therapists.

This place is a scam. You pay for an hour, get barely 30 minutes of anything even close to a massage, and they push for “extras” instead of actual treatment. If you’re looking for a legitimate massage and not some shady backroom nonsense,...

Purple Spa was even better than I was told. I happen to be visiting from out of town and while there some friends noticed I was in dire need of a quality massage. They recommended Purple Spa on South Federal Highway and suggested I go and spend the rest of the day afterwards relaxing. They were spot on. I easily found my way there and was already feeling better when I realized it is an Asian style massage spa. I was greeted with a warm smile and a beautiful environment. The massage was a wonderful mix of therapeutic and relaxing and I found myself dozing off because it apparently was exactly what I needed. I departed feeling far better than when I arrived and although I felt like walking Jell-O, I made my way back to my friends to spend the rest of the day doing as they suggested. I just came to this place today and about $50-$65 were missing from my pocket, I come to these places with my own cash because they request cash only, just an ATM machine up there as well. I went to my bank to get cash prior to coming in here because I don’t wanna pay an ATM fee.I would stay away from this place and definitely don’t go here with cash even though they force you to pay with cash, and if you’re turned over or not paying attention, they can go through your wallet & clothing. My money was stolen over here today. I came here at 7 PM and I have some pictures from the parking lot of the buildings in downtown Fort Lauderdale because this is where I live.
