Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. I purchased a sectional couch on Friday, went to the store WITH MY RECEIPT and confirmation email on Saturday morning. Kelley , the assistant team leader told me I needed the card I paid with to complete the transaction (that I already paid for). I didn’t have the card because it’s not one I use so I leave it at home. She told me the only way I could leave with my item was to present the card to her. I had to drive 45 minutes back home , then 45 minutes back to the store all for them to tell me , I didn’t actually need the card because they could process it without it. So now I’ve carted my 2 toddlers back and forth all morning, had people I was paying to deliver my couch wait an extra hour and a half all because Kelley is incompetent. She clearly does not have the knowledge or skill set to carry out a simple task or Know how to deal with customers as she told me it was my banks fault and in a sarcastic tone told me to have a great day as I was walking away. Did I mention they never asked me for any ID to make sure I was the person that actually ordered and paid for the couch ? I also want to say thank you to Big Lots for being one of the few stores that offered a discount with name badge to those Frontline workers. Too bad today was the last day to receive the discount, especially since pandemic isn't over, but I'm still thankful they did something. Got home & found out it was missing a battery, a Lithium battery. Went back to see if they could help me out but to no avail. They made no effort to get the manager to help. Called missing parts service & got "busy with other customers" message. When you buy things like this check everything out before you buy.
