Not enough lighting to play or park your car Safety is questionable as well There also needs to be reservation option

Nice walking trail. Need to upgrade play equipment for the kids. Pool definitely needs a makeover.

[My Notes] I live in the area nearby, for little over 6 years now, and have never heard about this park. It was until the 10th or 11th of March, that I decided to come on over and give the place a try. Let me inform you that this park is splendid. It is big enough for small picnics and bicycle rides. It has play areas for both the younger and youngest kids. Not only that, but it also has a swimming pool and baseball/soccer field. My little brother really enjoys coming to this park. There are many occasions where he wasn't alone, plenty of kids here and there to enable them to socialize and learn to explore themselves in a safe environment. There is a middle school next door that tends to have a police officer nearby, so feel free to rest at ease with your security.

However, there is somewhat limited seating (tables and benches) and the bathroom is cleaned every 3-4 days. No, it does not have toilet paper nor does it have any air freshener so expect some natural human scents... 😅

[Downsides] The Bathroom... obviously. Quite lonely from time to time, so it might be scary for some, especially late into the day. I don't know when they open the pool. Some of yalls kids are disrespectful to others... some parents leave their kids unattended and they tend to hit one another and call each other with rather disrespectful words. Thus, keep a close eye.

[Overall Recommendations] I definitely recommend this park for any family member of all ages. Most importantly, come on down and take a chance with this park. 😃 Who knows, you might like it.

×For the little ones, have fun! ×Teens, be cool... that's all. ×Parents, enjoy yourselves while keeping an eye on your...

Only wish the City would take care of this park as well as they should, the grounds upkeep is at the very minimal, and leaves much to be desired (the water drainage ditches are full of debris and weed killer chemicals are used indiscriminately - perhaps these ditches should be fitted with concrete pipes, covered, and make available for much needed parking, specially for the baseball fields!) - Furthermore, the kids playgrounds are unkempt and in dire need of loving and professional care, though personnel and equipment come around often and park for hours on end! The possibility of having a wonderful neighborhood' park exists, if only the park's budget and personnel efficiency would be maximized and properly managed... If the people who regularly use it would pitch in and keep it better than they found it, that wouldn't...

Quality softball and baseball field along with a public pool during the summer months. In 10 years of Almost Never Had a problem finding an empty baseball field to pitch batting practice to my son. I have played men's league baseball games on the field there and it's a pretty good field. Nice walking trails that go around the whole park and while I wouldn't recommend to going there at night, not just because it's closed and against the law, but because that would be the only time you might feel unsafe there. There's a Buddhist Monastery directly across the street and a school directly next door all of which have cameras that deter crime. There are basketball goals and lots of them as well as a playground for...
