Listen up folks, I've just returned from a visit to Huntington Beach and let me tell you, it's the ultimate beach destination. I mean, I've seen some beautiful beaches in my day, but this place takes the cake. Or should I say, the sandcastle? The highlight of my visit was definitely the surf culture. I mean, have you ever seen so many talented surfers in one place? It was like watching an aquatic gymnastics competition. And let's just say that I left feeling inspired to try my hand at surfing...or more accurately, my face at the sand. But it's not just the surfers that make Huntington Beach special. The beach itself is a stunner. The sand is soft, the water is clear, and the sunsets are straight-up breathtaking. I mean, I've seen some beautiful sunsets in my day, but this place takes the cake. Or should I say, the orange juice? And let's not forget about the beachfront restaurants and bars. I had some of the best seafood of my life and the cocktails were top-notch. It was like being on a permanent vacation. All jokes aside, Huntington Beach is a world-class beach destination that offers a unique and enjoyable experience. I left feeling refreshed and recharged. So, if you're looking for a fun and relaxing beach getaway, Huntington Beach is the place for you.

Surf City U.S.A Huntington Beach beach! Site of the US Open of Surfing! The beach at the pier is central for waterfront gatherings of activities on sand and surf, as the beach here doesn’t disappoint! The water is clean and among the best of places to surf in the area. And while the Huntington Beach Pier is a point of reference, it’s advised by lifeguards to stay away from the piling’s! Here the the waves are appreciated for competition, the sands and stands made plentiful to accommodate the crowds, with an inviting atmosphere created for visitors! It can be readily transformed with platforms, stages, booths and temporary set-ups of equipment. The area is kept clean, has lots of trash containers, good lifeguard coverage, restrooms and parking. It’s possible to walk along the beach to the pier for views, the Oceanfront Walk and Main Street with shops and restaurants and vice versa. While the paid parking is more convenient, the ‘lots can get jammed up at times, especially during special events, and on weekends and holidays. So as an option when arriving after mid-morning, I’ve avoided that and residential street parked for free to the east, a few blocks over, beyond the metered parking. Then hoofing and hauling it is the only price to pay!
