Unforgettable experience! We arrived in Ketchikan on Serenade of the Seas in May 2025. Having been a longtime fan of Deadliest Catch, the moment we saw this excursion, we immediately booked it. It was more than worth the wait!

It was raining steadily our entire tour, but not to worry. We were all covered on the lower level of the boat. The crew kept us comfortable with provided rain jackets and long, warm, oversized coats. They were so mindful of making sure we were all having a great experience. They brought these items to us before we knew we needed them! We also got some pointers on the best ways to capture pictures and video of some of these moments and they were spot on. Thank you!

We got to see demonstrations, including line fishing and of course, a couple of crab pot varieties. It was fascinating to watch. We also got to touch and hold much of what was caught as well as several creatures from the touch tanks. The crew made sure everyone had an opportunity to get the full experience.

Another highlight was the bald eagles. Never have I, or probably will I ever again (unless I do this tour again), experience an event like this. Dozens of bald eagles, swooping and soaring by the boat, eagerly catching fish tossed by the crew, right in the air sometimes, or grabbing them from the water. The pictures and the videos don't do it justice. Absolutely incredible.

Lastly, the crew's personal experiences and stories were something I wasn't expecting. I enjoyed hearing every word they had to say, and didn't want to miss a second of it. These guys are the real deal. Captain Ron, Big "D", Andy, thank you for the stories, the experiences, and the energy you brought. Without you, the whole tour wouldn't have been the same. You each individually made a lasting impression on us, by something you did or said, and I can't thank you enough. Thank you to the entire crew for taking us on this adventure.
