The playground is nice but the sound features don't work. Sadly, I will not be coming back here anytime soon because after having been here on two different days and seeing that most of the other parents and children were not wearing masks, it is evident that the majority of people who come here don't care to follow public health guidelines. I saw two other families show up with masks, but they stayed about 5 minutes and then left. I can only assume it was because they too noticed that nobody was wearing masks. I tried to stick it out a little while since my son really wanted to play, and I tried to have him stay on the opposite side of the playground from the other kids, but when another kid came up to him maskless and coughed in his face without even covering his mouth, I decided that we can't come back...

We really enjoyed visiting it with my friend and our children for a play date.

The splash pad was closed, since it’s already September and they are open only on weekends now.

We had fun playing on the playground though. It is somewhat shaded and gated — so it’s perfect for little kids. There are multiple benches and tables for parents. There are multiple slides and different climbing fixtures.

There are two separate play areas: one for kids 2-5, the other one for kids 5-12.

There are a few animal statues — a turtle, a bear, a mountain lion. There are also educational corners with buttons, upon pressing which kids can hear the sounds that animals make.

After enjoying the playground, we went for a walk in the gardens. My kid loved it!

Restrooms are clean and modern.

Tons of...

How are you staying cool during this heatwave? We went to Crown Valley Park and Sprayground yesterday, which is always on our summer bucket list. There are plenty of restrooms/changing rooms & parking, and there is a lot to do besides the splash pad! You can get here earlier in the morning & play at the gated playground, explore the botanical trails, and then cool off in the splash pad when it opens at 10am. The downside of this spot is the lack of shade in the splash pad. I saw people bringing their own sun umbrellas to stay cool 😆 The playground does have shaded tables, which are directly between the smaller and larger play structures. Whether you go to a pool, beach, or splash pad this weekend, I hope you stay cool and have a great time making memories with your family! #ocparentguide #summer #orangecounty #socal #southerncalifornia

Entire park renovated, completed September 2017. YMCA also here that shares pool facilities. Excellent public pool with three 1 meter and three 3 meter diving boards as well as one 5 meter platform. Only one of the 1 meter is open to public, others you need to be in diving class. Serious diving program for kids and adults wiith dry land training including trampolines. Coaches are fantastic. Main pool great for lap swimming. Separate warmer pool for kids swimming classes. Extensive botanical garden and trail system throughout hillside area. New splash park, very fun with many features. Outdoor amphitheater has performances and movie showings. There are fields for soccer, etc.
