I had a very bad experience on my recent visit to Loon Mountain ski resort for a snow tubing, (Last Saturday) here I’m taking about safety AND customer service. An incident occurred when a tuber fell and suffered an injury, and they were blaming her for not using the brake and the poor lady replied a 100 times that she did use the brake, during that time they stoped us from snow tubing and asked us to wait until the safety net is installed again and the injured lady is transported away. 40-minute delay out of our 1-hour session was frustrating, to say the least.
Upon returning to the main office to voice our concerns, Lizzy, who claimed to be the manager only exacerbated our dismay. Despite the disruption and inconvenience endured, Lizzy adamantly refused any form of compensation, refund or tickets for the next day, alleging that we lied regarding my children's ages.
It is true that 2 of my children, aged 7, fell short of the age requirement by a year. However, the website wasn’t clear. Whether children needed to meet all criteria—age, height, and weight—or just one was not clearly communicated. As Lizzy took my kids measurements and she said they are good to go and she gave them the tags to snow tubing. BTW My children did fulfill the latter two requirements, height and weight. Lizzy kept refusing giving me a refund even after I told her, don’t give me refund for the 2 kids tickets but just give me for the adults tickets, Lizzy callously dismissed the suggestion, claiming it was impossible. Such inflexibility and lack of empathy are unacceptable, especially considering the circumstances. When I told her, that I’m not treated fair, she kept looking ant her laptop screen, like if no one is there and when I said I will write a review about my experience, she said “go ahead”...

Upon arriving at Loon for tubing we found out that we mistakenly made reservation for week prior. They explained to us they were booked for day and couldn't do anything without refunding us our money. After having discussion with tubing manager and explaining how we drove 3.5 hrs from CT to NH to go tubing, the manager was awesome enough to work with us and not let our children down, gave us two passes to enjoy tubing adventures. Due to understanding of this manager and the great time we had, I would recommend this place...
