Drove 5hrs to bring my son to Southwest Museum of Clocks & Watches for his 2nd birthday on Veterans Day 🥳! He couldn’t be happier. A dream come true for us as his parents and something he wasn’t expecting but was very much thrilled for. They allowed us to celebrate him with a jumbo balloon and gift him his very first SEIKO melodies in motion clock there. Making everything all the more special. Such kind people. They gladly showed my son all the cuckoo clocks. Will definitely have to go again! Our son loves everything about clocks and watches! Thank you for existing!

Great stop if your in Lockhart. You get to see things like a 600 year old clock (a water clock).. a 1850s Tower Clock mechanism from London.. Several early 1800s all wooden mechanism clocks.. small clocks large clocks, they have it all ... def not a waist of your time to go.. it's well worth the Time.. you will spend there... time is of the essence!... and you get to meet Lazarus .. (the 14 yr old lockhart resident making a name for himself as a docent volunteer at the museum)!

Clean and well maintained. Friendly and professional staff. A nice place to learn about clocks and watches. A window into the past. Nice to see Machines that tell time and how they evolved. Some are really gems of the past. I saw one there that is a out 200 years old! Highly recommend this place. Must visit.

Lovely visit with Dan providing an illuminating tour of clocks throughout history as we walked amongst the centuries old timepieces. A cute shop most definitely worth a few minutes of your time as you casually stroll through downtown Lockhart.
