Public Beach Access (Park at Bayfront Park) — Attraction in Longboat Key

Nice little quiet beach entrance. Perfect for beachcombers. Nice amount of shells to pick from. Not large shells, the biggest would be about the palm of a hand size. There were also shallow tide pools at high tide for little ones to play in. The park across from the road also has a nice playground for kids with bathrooms, a water fountain, hose to rinse sand off, and dog bowl for anyone's pets to drink...

Awesome beach. It is a hidden gem in Sarasota county. The beach is clean and we'll maintained. Visitors were keeping social distance and noise was kept to a minimum. The beach is located across the street from Bayfront Park which has clean facilities and a beautiful riverwalk trail. we spend about 2 hours at the beach and 45 minutes at the park.
