I don't know how on earth this doesn't have a 5⭐ total review score! I live here in Chattanooga and come up to point park a couple times a year. It's usually quite, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful scenery 360° around here! There's a few small cool shops, a few nice joints to grab a bite, and literally 5 minutes away you can hop on the incline and ride the railroad down the side of lookout mountain to a bunch of places to eat in St Elmo. It's worth the walk and fee unless you're fat and or lazy, then you may just want to go to one of the many places to get a bite to eat!😉😂 May I suggest Mr T's pizza at the foot of the mountain and close by is a really cool but kinda small clock and timepiece shop. It has grandfather clocks, coocoo clocks and many more. They also used to let you watch repairs being done, super neat to watch or at least I thought so!? Just go, put on your walking shoes, and have a great but...
Read moreThe reviews below must be about Point Park across the street because the Battles for Chattanooga Museum was a joke. The digital projection-mapped show was like a 25-30 minute movie which was okay but mostly putting me to sleep. The museum was barely a museum. It was literally a room that you walk into after the movie that fools you into thinking you're in a museum until you walk by one of the showcases seeing that it is just a tiny room with some displays. The building is more of a gift shop than a museum. Don't waste your time here unless you want to waste your money on a short movie/map show and see some...
Read moreWARNING, very deceptive photographs. This shop has nothing to do with point park! We bought tickets, only to be turned away from the park. The pictures associated with this location are from the national park (Point Park) next door. We had to drive all the way across town to get a refund on our tickets. So mad about the falsity of the location, that we never went to make a review on what they have inside. Save your money and watch a history channel special about civil war battles around Chattanooga. Entrance fees to point park, with hiking trails and all, were $7 per adult. Kids were free and the views were...
