I had a great time thanks to Ahin who was the jump master, he was really chill and accommodating. Even took photos for us. We tried one of the “hard” escape rooms that was themed around aliens and was all really aesthetic and immersive. The puzzles were tricky but still fun. We only asked for a hint twice, the first situation we were looking in too deep to the situation and over complicating it when it was in actuality right in front of us. The second situation one of the props weren’t working but Ahin was quick to help us. There were multiple rooms and in one if them there was an unexpected jump scare which was really fun. There’s also one area that requires you to climb up to a small area but if you’re not comfortable with that then there’s alternative route which is accommodating. Overall a really fun experience and the ending was also very congratulatory and felt fulfilling.

Cyberpunk Samurai had very unique set design and theming from any game we’ve played. There was one moment that wowed us and was pretty fun. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I want to come back here as one high mechanical puzzle that we were very excited to solve was broken and when we notified the game master they just progressed us to the end of the game, which was so disappointing because it was the final puzzle. I wish this was fixed but got the impression it’s broken a lot. The game master seemed overwhelmed because check in was slow and I’d expect them to proactively help us if they see the game is broken but didn’t do anything until we asked for help when we couldn’t get it to work. Game master also didn’t offer to take our photo which is something we expect to see. I will say this location has one of the best lobbies in all of LA!

My friend and I played the “Men in Suits” room and it was a fantastic experience. With 60 minutes to escape you’ll be met with plenty of challenges to cut it close to make it out. I think going in with the intention to escape in 60 minutes doesn’t allow you to fully appreciate how well made this escape room is. The immersion from the GM and the room itself was amazing. I’ll be going back to do the steampunk room with a group when I have a chance. I also appreciated our GM Julian, they were awesome and we got to talk with him for a while about the room we had just escaped and other rooms they had. Can’t wait to go back!

Overall a great experience. I have done over 200 rooms since escape rooms first became a thing and it was just locks and word puzzles or maps. Mariam was a great game master and host.

When it comes to a room a few things make up for a great experience and I think maze rooms hit them all. Doing custom designs and decorations is a must to start the experience off right.

Having the rooms and things follow the storyline so it’s not random puzzles in a themed room that don’t jive or fit.

Having extra rooms, crawl spaces or things that knowing the room you start in isn’t the only thing.

Then sprinkling in some tech is a must so you can have fun a do anything with sensors, unique tech or ways to offer it different than gen 1 rooms with a lockbox.

Overall they hit every mark. I would say the only feedback I have for cyberpunk well it didn’t feel guided much. It was random wondering and throwing out ideas of things to do for it to work. But I won’t deduct any rating because it was a great room and they went above and beyond.

This would be great for anyone from beginners to avid...

I’ve done a lot of escape rooms of different production levels and this one was pretty middle of the pack. Their set design was really cool and I liked how little they relied on actual combination locks (opting instead for more tactile puzzles) but the reasons it’s 3 stars and not 4 or 5 was because of the actual experience we got. We did the MIS room and it initially seemed like it would be cool, but there were some elements that felt extremely obnoxious and cheesy. It kinda feels like a room that doesn’t have an audience in mind. The puzzles were fun and complex, but the humor and the “entertainment” side of things seemed geared more toward 8-9 year olds. A giant taco that keeps screaming at you until you [do a thing that I’m not gonna spoil]? Making you dance at the end to “save the planet” for what felt like 2 full minutes? It just kind of felt awkward, uncomfortable, and anticlimactic for adults. There were some cool aspects and I had fun during a good chunk of it, but the parts that missed the mark REALLY brought down the overall experience and left me feeling...

We visited two escape rooms at this location: Spy Dogs and Cyberpunk Samurai, with a team of six (four kids and two adults). Our all-girls team had an amazing time in both escape rooms.

We started with Spy Dogs, which the kids absolutely loved. It's incredibly fun and cute while also being logical with interesting and creative tasks. You really feel like a Spy Dog to complete the escape successfully. This is a fantastic adventure for kids, and it was perfect for our girls, aged 7 to 9.

Cyberpunk Samurai, on the other hand, is my personal favorite. It's a real adventure with top-notch implementation—decorations, tasks, music, and storytelling are all incredible and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell this escape room was created with a lot of heart and soul. It’s very immersive; I traveled through three different worlds in one game, which is unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The entire location is beautifully designed, making you feel like you're stepping into a magical place. This is probably one of the best indoor activities in...
