I devoted two years of diligent servitude for both Kyle and Krystle. I always did as I was told, always showed up to work on time, and was always kind and helpful to customers. I was committed to doing my job to the best of my ability. In June 2022, shifts/hours dropped dramatically and I couldn’t afford to live. I implored them to create a set schedule so I could get an additional part time job somewhere else. One evening in late October 2022, after many months of shortened shifts, Kyle kept me on the phone for over an hour and promised to put me on for full time. He told me he wanted to pay me enough to be able to move to a better apartment and afford to buy a car. November was a good earning month, December was a little bit less, January was a little bit less even still, and February I only earned about $1500. The problem is that I couldn’t afford to have open availability with part time hours (who can?) which is why I asked for a set schedule so I could find a second job months earlier. I didn’t understand why they couldn’t commit to being at the store themselves. On March 20th, the day after my 36th birthday, I was let go under the guise that they couldn’t afford me. If they were truly having money problems, then it was what it was. I was told that they were in financial trouble and that’s why they couldn’t keep me… not even for part time. Come to find out they replaced me with someone else….. who got full time hours. The person who replaced me reached out to me after Kyle and Krystle fired them too, and this individual told me everything. Soon after leaving a lot of people involved in the spiritual community came forward and volunteered information to me. He was never at the store anyways- what was he doing with his days? We will never know. One community member owns land a bit further south- and information was volunteered to me about how Kyle left a teepee (worth thousands) out and exposed all winter on a remote part of their land, ruining the teepee. By neglecting to clean up after himself he ruined not only the teepee but also blankets that had been donated. And that’s exactly how he treats people! Leaves them out in the cold! I found out about all the rumors they started about me, about how I was using chaos magick to disrupt things. Anything that has been said about me by Krystle and especially Kyle after my departure is blatantly untrue. I would be remiss if I didn’t take it as a compliment, them seeing me as such a powerful practitioner. However, I can’t take credit for any “disruptions” or “negativity”. I can only take credit for doing something that Kyle simply doesn’t have the discipline for- and that is to find stable employment and a healthy income stream. I’ve debated about writing this and publishing it for a long time. Since I have done absolutely nothing wrong up until this very moment, my karma is completely clean. I was left by the side of the road like a dog. The truth is, I’ve sacrificed a lot for altered state of mind and continue to do so, and I want it to stop. Being made into a scapegoat because of someone else’s poor decisions is wholly unethical in the eyes of the universe. It is unethical to bait someone with promises of stability only to discard them later. The only thing I’m angry about was the manipulation: false plans/promises of enough income to better my life, and I was nothing but dutiful and transparent. I lost my community when asom forced me out, and the community deserves to know. If you’re not willing to heal yourself, how can you heal others? You have the potential to treat anyone as poorly as you’ve treated me, and the community deserves to know if they are to put their vulnerabilities in your hands. If you don’t introspect on how such animosity came about around me because of you then you’re going to fail.
