Let me start off by saying I am regular here since my birthday 2020...but I never saw this lady until today...n if so I don't remember her. usually I come get my steak eggs and red velvet cake n leave and the steaks r fn great and the food 😘😘😘😘😘 but boom....today I was outside the poker palace having an emergency private conversation on the phone with my mother and her Dr who is in stage four of cancer okay... when some woman interrupted me to pet my dog which I don't like strangers touching my dog or my children Idc ..so she mentioned she has a dog n I was Idc .. I pulled my dog away.i don't like random.people touching my loved ones ..I'm sorry. So now I'm talking to my mother's Dr now. ..mind u I did not let her pet my dog which apparently was an issue because when I went into Maddie's... I found out she worked there... and she mentioned it and then asked my dog if she was hungry as if I starve her .Idk but i won't be back anymore. I didn't trust her to make my food she gave off creepy vibes especially when she made it a point to mention she saw us outside ..well that fines if you let everyone and anyone stranger or not pet your fur baby but I fn don't and I don't appreciate being made uncomfortable because I don't. My husband decided not to buy our chicken from there and we went across the street to the grocery store n got wedges and chicken..he was concerned that she was off and she might do something spiteful to our food because I didn't let her touch my fn puppy.. I just left cus I'm violent and I don't like being fd w .. or bullied it makes me very fn angry.i wont be back when she's working......
Read moreWent to Poker Palace on the way back from picking my son up from the airport. It was after 10pm and my friend who was driving recommended stopping there for a quick bite to eat since my son's flight was over 3 hours long and he was hungry. My friend said they had a great prime rib special and it sounded great. Got to restaurant and no one was at front desk. Waited a while and the hostess showed up but basicly acted like we weren't in front of here. She was busy taking the payment from someone who had walked up with her. After she was finished with him she seated us and it wasn't long before the waitress showed up and gave us the menus. We basicly all decided the prime rib when she informed us that was only served until 8pm. So we started to re-examine the menu. And we all ordered something else. After about ten minutes the waitress came out and told my son they were out of the sides he had ordered and gave him other options. It much longer than we thought to get our food. In fact we were making jokes between ourselves about it about it. We got our orders and to be perfectly honest 2 out of 3 of us were disappointed. The only person that didn't seem disappointed was my friend who suggested the place. And even his order wasn't what he ordered. It took us longer than it should to check out because the hostess had disappeared again. I'm starting to think she was also the cook. Anyway to cut to the reason l gave one star. I would never eat there again even if the food was free. Had a health code rating of A but there was nothing there...
Read moreI have only been to Poker Palace Casino a few times but honestly, I think the people who work there are pretty nice! I say this as I have always had a good interaction with the people that I have talked to there. An example would be; I went there this evening to locate a friend who had gone to get his birthday meal from what the lady bartender had called 'the kitchen', which is in through the double 2 sets of doors, to the left and down a very short set of stairs and at the end. So, while looking for him a security guard had asked jovially, 'Did you find the birthday boy?'. I didn't know he had heard me, but he offered to have him paged. I was headed out already so I declined the offer but, how sweet. Anywho I digress. Inside the casino, the game floor loops around to another 2 sets of double doors, and for me, it's in the shape reminiscent of the letter J. Not too big but a kinda cozy (quieter than bigger casinos) space for you to gamble and have a drink, or drink and gamble at the bar along the wall which sits about 6 chairs or so. You can bet on sports, play a table game, or 2, and they have bingo as well! It has an oyster bar too! And the short side is non-smoking even, hey so how about it folks!? Sounds good to me. Be sure to sign up for the players' club card because they have a birthday meal that's printed out on a ticket at their players' kiosk and it comes with a piece of cake too! Whew. Lol, be sure to enjoy it! And may you win! MuchLove!
