Absolutely terrible facility and majority of workers have attitude. Drove 2 hours for a Royal dolphin swim purchased with our military discount. Just arrived back to America after being stationed in England before my daughter was 10 so she was not issued a military ID per DoD guidelines. The facility removed our discount because she didn't have a military ID although my husband and I both did. When I escalated it they gave the same song and dance that as a business they have the right to give the discount, no understanding about why she herself didn't have an ID. Then when I asked for the names of the people I was speaking with to file a complaint when we were done with the swim, she refused saying we don't give our names. As an organization, why aren't they wearing name tags and how do you make a valid complaint without knowing with whom you are speaking with. She threatened to call the cops and not let my daughter participate. I swallowed my pride and apologized, paid the difference even though again I was holding my military ID card and paying for a minor. When we entered the facility it is completely run down and sad. I have swam with dolphins many times and in different countires with a military discount and NEVER had an experience like this.

There are hardly any animals and the ones that are there are in the smallest, most run down environments. We booked the Royal swim because it had the foot push and yet they didn't do it. When I asked about it, they stated it was for the dolphins safety as their rostrum's were sensitive right now and sore. (This is because you can smell the chlorine they add to their water which burns dolphins but protects bacteria for humans.) We then went to the dolphin show immediately after her swim where the trainers then did multiple foot pushes with the dolphins for the show.

This place is a money grab with terrible customer service.

The good things I will say is the photographer and trainers that did the dolphin swim were extremely nice and professional. The snacks and drinks were good and reasonably priced.

Overall, I would highly recommend making the drive to Key Largo or another facility that does the swim as advertised, has amazing customer service, and the dolphins swim in a natural lagoon attached to the facility. This place is a dilapidated Sea World.
