What a festival! Honestly, in my opinion, one thing to be careful of is buying colognes/perfumes sold as testers. Originally back in 2000’-2010 most of the fragrance booths sold real honest testers from the manufacturer. I found one booth I used for a long time “Fragrances by Victoria”. In the past few years, it’s been a bit of hit and miss with colognes sold as tester samples (some seem to be just alcohol and some fragrance and last for 20-30 minutes, others are definitely real and will last the full day as they should). I started purchasing my favorites from Macy’s online, as paying the extra $45-60 per bottle is worth it to get what you know will be a lasting cologne/perfume. Again, just my experience with vendors at Festival Marketplace on Sample Road, just off the Turnpike. The only draw back to “Victoria’s fragrance’s” is that the stand will not honor a return policy, I would purchase again, but in my experience once you leave with it, you are stuck with your $40-200 purchase and it’s happened now twice to me with the vendor (first time shame on the owner, second time, shame on me for making the same mistake twice). If you are a gambler, which I am not, you can test the product and if you feel it is oily as all perfume and cologne has some percentage of oils to them, then it’s a great bargain. I spend the extra 30-50.00 and order from Macy’s or another similar company that allows returns. Festival flea market also has luggage companies that have great deals on luggage for traveling back to your country of origin. Typically priced $35-155.00 you can find a good deal on luggage that will last you a good six or seven trips. They also have jewelry and lifelong jewelers that really know their trade, I had a necklace for my wife repaired there and have purchased some gold pendants for loved ones. Some really great prices made onsite. All in all Festival Flea-market off Sample Road and the Florida Turnpike in Pompano Beach is a nice place to spend a few hours while on vacation.

I don’t usually do this kind of thing, but never ever ever in your life get anything repaired at Deluxe Jewelry at the festival flea market in Pompano. I took three necklaces to be repaired and all of them had to be redone multiple times, and the most important one, the most expensive piece I own is still done so horribly that I’m going to have to either learn how to fix it myself, or pay someone else to fix it. I dropped these off over a month ago. The lady put one of my mala strung black coral and Baltic amber necklaces on fishing line! Then argued with me about that if I wanted it done right I would have to pay more. Which I did. Then she strung it without knots. Then she’s strung it with only 3/4 of the necklace having that knots. She didn’t make the knots thick enough to secure each bead. They literally go through the holes of each bead. Then, instead of restringing, the whole thing she tried to do patchwork near the pendant, were one side has extra knots. The other side has no knots and out of the three main pendants one of them is placed upside down. If this was done right, the first time it wouldn’t have taken four different attempts. The owner stood by her employee and said that she does great work and she’s been working for her for over a decade. How could you do something for over a decade and be this bad at it? I told the owner I didn’t want the lady doing anything more to my necklace after the third attempt and that I would prefer a refund just on that one necklace for $40. She still had the lady try again anyway! I am beyond pissed with this experience and level of unprofessionalism. Never in your life get anything repaired at this place! These people do horrible business! Being that the owner in Nedjuce was not able to keep up with her end of our agreement. This has now been reported to the Better Business Bureau and I encourage anyone with similar terrible experiences to do the same. They had my other reviews taking down. I am going to be posting these reviews on any platform possible with their name on it. These people picked the wrong person to screw over.

Festival Marketplace in Pompano Beach, Florida, offers a vibrant shopping experience with the charm of an indoor flea market. Originally a Pompano outlet mall, this iconic venue has served the community since 1991 and now boasts an eclectic mix of vendors. You’ll find a wide variety of products, from antiques and collectibles to fresh produce, all under one roof. There’s also a unique pickle stand, a TV products store, and a range of specialty booths offering everything from clothing to home décor at bargain prices. Adjacent to the marketplace is a Dollar Tree, making it convenient for those looking to grab essentials after their shopping spree. A particular highlight is the expansive antique mall, where rare treasures await discovery. Whether you’re seeking everyday items or looking for something out of the ordinary, Festival Marketplace caters to all shoppers. However, this beloved marketplace is set to close its doors in August 2025, marking the end of an era. With the countdown to closure already underway, now is the perfect time to visit and take advantage of the unbeatable prices before it’s too late. From fresh produce to hidden treasures, Festival Marketplace remains a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot offers a nostalgic shopping experience worth exploring before it disappears.

Really mixed feelings about The Festival. Personally I absolutely love walking the flea market and “window shop,” but at the same time, I feel so bad for the vendors. As the flea market crowd ages, they’re not being replaced and ofttimes this place looks like a ghost town with many empty booths indicative of their falling out of vogue. The vendors that have stuck it out advertise with a look of desperation. For the past few years I would have wagered they’d close down right after the snow birds migrated back north but alas they’re like the energizer bunny..the place just keeps rolling along. Recently the Festival was purchased by an owner group with their eyes set on revitalizing the old girl. The process seems to trudge along very slowly all whilst the loyal vendors hang on hoping better days are ahead. I’m with them. I look forward to them completing their renaissance and keeping my fingers crossed that their plan entices a new set of clientele and brings the Festival into a new era where their vendors prosper and customers like myself can once again walk through an excited crowd of shoppers. If my hopes materialize, rest assured I’ll re-visit my 3 star review and hope to be able to replace it with a 5 star one instead. Cautiously optimistic.

I normally love the Festival Flea Market, but I had a very scary experience yesterday. I bought some nuts at Im Nuts For You at the Festival Flea Market. The owner assured me that they were organic and had a sign stating that they were. I told him that I was severely allergic to the pesticides used on conventional, raw nuts. After eating some of the nuts, I got SO sick and could not breathe. Parts of my body got numb and tingly. It was VERY scary. I have had many allergic reactions, but none so severe. I had to get immediate medical attention. I thought that I was going to die. I have had food allergies for over 30 years. Today, I learned a big lesson. I will never take anyone's word again. I reported him to a few agencies. He could have caused me to lose my life. I did go back to him right before the reaction got bad. He had a smug look on his face and all he said was, "They are organic." I told him that he could kill people. He never apologized or offered to give me back my money. This owner is selling conventional nuts at organic prices. Don't buy from him.
