Love the place and the people. Gotta meet bolt the goat. I’ve floated lots of rivers and this is by far far far the best storefront setting. I thought I was going to enter and have just a cashier….oh no! Water shoes, tubes, towels, food and drink goodies, Idaho keepsakes, swim shorts, a freezer packed with ice cream and popsicle yumminess, and other stuff in case you forgot something…:this place is a one stop shop. We will certainly come see them again. One thing I took notice to was the music on the bus ride which was family friendly. This place is a 1000 out of 100! My teenagers had to use their bathroom and commented how it was the cleanest port-a-potties they’d ever seen and big enough to change clothes in!

Fantastic people! Lark, and her son Leo, were amazing! 🤩 apparently we were the first people of this 2025 summer! They have everything you need (except beer 😉, so come prepared) for an enjoyable day floating the river! They even a little store with snacks, drinks, etc. I had forgotten my water shoes, and they had my size! Everything EXTREMELY well priced! Such a BEAUTIFUL section of the Bear River; they drop you and pick you up!

Awesome day today, showed up last minute without reservation and they were very accommodating for my group of 4. Quinton drove us to the start and picked us up at the end. Extremely reasonable price of $15 a person. Tubes were perfect, water was warm, awesome day with my buddies. Thanks Quinton and the rest of the crew that made this experience perfect, will be back for sure.

I'm going to compare this experience to the one you get at Lava Hot Springs:

Family Fun: -On your way up you get instructions on how to navigate the river as well as the dangers that come with it -You get a shuttle, life vest, and tube all included in your rental -The staff are always watching to make sure anyone riding the river is safe and having fun -It's a calm ride with the occasional class 2 rapids (Which the staff warn you about) -The river is through the mountains and is very scenic -The staff instill a trust that they WILL keep you safe

Lava Hot Springs: -Class 3 rapids including a spillover (which the staff do NOT warn you about) -A 12 foot canal through a city crowded with several other riders That's about it.

Overall I would recommend this rental over Lava Hot Springs, the only thing I can recommend Lava for is if you're a thrill seeker. Even then the lack of warning to the potential dangers is pretty careless in my opinion.

I would also like to recognize what this rental does for the park, they take care of a good chunk of the maintenance, rescue, lost and found, without any help from the state, and they do a fantastic job at it.

Thank...

My friends and I had so much fun here. Not only are they a family run business but they have the ability to make you feel like you are a part of the family. The bus driver who was the (father/owner) was assisting people in the river on the way up who weren’t even his clients, showing he cares for the safety and enjoyment of not only his own clients but EVERYONE on the river. The BEST part was the hardest worker there Mr. Paxton!!! He made the bus ride and whole adventure enjoyable and provided the best entertainment. His parents give him the opportunity to show responsibility and have him “work” to earn money for his cows and other fun farm animals he wants. He is an amazing little guy and is being raised to be quite the responsible gentleman someday. I urge you if you float to TIP PAXTON- he truly deserves it. I will absolutely be coming back and bringing more friends next time. Not to mention Paxton is quite the business man and let us barter with him for one of his outdoor kittens. We can’t wait...

We had a great experience with our family (3 adults, 5 children 8-14yrs)! Our shuttle driver Greg, went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and had fun. It was well worth the small surcharge to have the shuttle service! The river had some fun rapids, but they weren’t so big to be scary. The only mishap we had was our 13 yr old flipped out of her tube and scraped her leg and foot on a rock, but she was able to get back in her tube and enjoyed the trip. The tubes can be difficult to maneuver especially for youth with short legs and arms, maybe having a paddle or stick would have been nice. Be sure to wear water shoes and a life vest, I took an exit a bit early and had to walk in the muck and on rocks for a bit and was glad to have shoes. There are real risks to floating a river, so be careful. Family Fun Tubing was super helpful and made it...
