Syd Entel Galleries — Attraction in Safety Harbor

Why does an art gallery even want to be rated? To their credit the ladies running the place left me alone to browse around the gallery. I've visited Syd Entel in the past and found the art exciting, even cutting edge. Not so this time. I was treated to bland, overpriced work most likely looking for equally bland overpriced walls in one or more of the million dollar McMansions that grace the streets of Safety Harbor. I also inquired about framing some of my own artwork but as I'm a poor starving artist I found the prices out of my range. That's not necessarily a bad thing. My Aunt from New York absolutely loved this gallery. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Downtown Safety Harbor has a very local vibe to it, which is part of what makes it so great, but it was a nice to see this gallery featured quality work from a great variety of artists, local & around the country, as well as signed prints by some larger names.

Every time I go in here, I spend too much money. Everything is so beautiful. Linda is simply the best. A masterful saleswoman with the kindest technique at just helping you buy up all the beauty the gallery has to offer. BUT, I found a pair of earrings I just had to have and Linda insisted I try them on first. She saved me! They looked awful on me.
