This park was an unexpected gem. The trails are a bit hidden but there’s a narrow path between the shrubs in the back right corner. Once you get through them, there’s a surprisingly beautiful, steep winding trail. Definitely wear thick pants and shoes as there’s nettle along the trails but I’m so glad I found this park.

I like this part of the Alki stretch because there tends to be less people and the sunsets are amazing. There is enough of a shoreline to stretch your legs, find shells 🐚 and see crabs 🦀.

Me Kwa Mooks is one of the great quality small parks in our city. With barely 1/2 Mile Waterfront footprint it easily boasts one of the top 3 Westward views south of downtown. And the only one with lots of parking. Usually. The Waterfront side of Beach Drive is good for picnicking and sunbathing in summer, and has plenty of built-in seating if you don't like to sit on the ground. The sidewalks stretch has its year-round supply of Walkers and Runners with their pets. Enjoying a stretch of legs which joins the other two great Westward views south of downtown, Alki Point and Lincoln Park. The landward side of the park has a slightly shorter footprint. But includes some great easy Trails very wide for hiking in the trees on the slope of the Hill Side facing the water front. Everything under the trees usually stays quite dry even in moderate rainfall. One trail goes all the way to the top of the bluff and is at the end of a dead-end street up there. Another piece of the trail continues South and empties out on to streets that come down to the Waterfront. And another piece of the trail circles back around to your starting point. The starting point on the landward side of Beach Drive includes a small flat area good for throwing the ball and has a year-around honey bucket, a couple of barbecue stands and picnic tables for your barbecue! The park is kept clean year-round. The water side of the park is okay for rolling and viewing. But the landward side is not ADA Compliant. In wet weather it can be a tough slog to get to the picnic tables and the barbecue stand because the ground is soft. And the Honey bucket is only...

The people who live by alki and all around up to Admiral way seem like they have a sense of entitlement and they don't have any respect for someone who is down on their luck or dresses different I have he as rd nothing but rude comments and encountered nothing but snobby attitudes from them I have a spinal cord injury and I hear them say o that guy is a drunk truth is I haven't had a...

Great views but the park itself needs work. Litter, overgrown vegetation, narrow walkways, broken signs and graffiti, nasty port a potty... it’s fine I guess but just really worn out. Keep your eyes on the view and ignore the actual park (but really Seattle... you can do better than that for this jewel of a...
